Sharon McCartney received her BS in business management with an emphasis on communication from Southern Oregon University. She joined PRS as an Administrator in Training (AIT) in 2007. After completing the AIT program, she began working with the PRS chief of health services to assist various PRS facilities with administrator coverage and clinical software implementation. Mrs. McCartney became the health services administrator for Mirabella in 2010, where she experienced deficiency-free surveys and received Leading Age of Oregon’s Innovation Award for the Telemedicine Program. She became the executive director in 2017.
Mary Ann Lagazon received her BA in psychology in 2008 from California State University, Sacramento, and her MA in gerontology from San Francisco State University in 2014. During her graduate studies, she completed an Administrator in Training internship at a not-for-profit skilled nursing facility in Berkeley. From 2015 to 2017 she worked in the for-profit skilled nursing industry, beginning with a large nursing home provider, then a small private company, where she helped achieve a 5-star rating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She moved from the Bay Area in October 2017, circling back to the not-for-profit arena by joining the health services team at Mirabella Portland.
