Planning: What is a Life Plan Community?
Life Plan Communities are a subset of retirement communities that offer all levels of healthcare on one campus:
Independent Living for people who require no assistance with the activities of daily living.
Assisted Living (sometimes called Residential Living or Extended Living) for those who require some help with the activities of daily living.
Memory Support for those suffering from Alzheimer’s or other memory impairing conditions.
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for those in need of specialized care (short or long-term) from an on-campus healthcare center.
