HPP dining overview

Our Approach

At Holladay Park Plaza, we consider dining one of the key factors of overall wellness. That’s why our culinary team takes so much pride in ingredient and menu selection. Not only do we emphasize healthy options, we pack our menus with seasonal variety so you have ample opportunity to try new things and avoid a culinary rut of the same dishes month after month. From favorite staples like soups and salads to more ambitious dishes such as roasted rosemary game hen or lemon-poached cod, our menus have something for everyone.

We know amazing food is one of life’s great pleasures, and we look forward to bringing you creative, delicious meals day after day

Seasonal Variety

Locally sourced ingredients are a key part of our dining philosophy. Fortunately, with Portland’s plethora of farmers markets and local vendors, we have plenty to choose from.

Our popular Chef’s Menu Forum is a wonderful opportunity for residents to have a say in how these amazing ingredients are put to use each month. It invites residents to see, smell, and taste a special selection of the ingredients and recipes compiled by the dining team to promote collaboration as we strive to create an evolving menu full of freshness and flavor.

Every day we’ll keep your taste buds tingling with creative new dishes inspired by your favorite recipes and the bounty of whatever the season has to offer.

Healthy Options

Our menus are centered on the nutrition and balance that come from a rich assortment of healthy foods. And we’re here to make sure that there are, indeed, plenty of such foods available to you. By taking advantage of the readily available local ingredients at nearby farmers markets, we are able to craft delicious dishes for a variety of dietary restrictions:

  • gluten-free
  • dairy-free
  • vegetarian
  • heart healthy

For those times when all you want is a cheeseburger, or maybe a generous slice of banana cream pie, we can do that as well—with the finest ingredients available to us.
