Health and Wellness
At Trinity Terrace, our philosophy about Health and Wellness is based on the findings from a 10-year study conducted by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The study found that only 30% of physical aging can be attributed to genetics. The other 70% is influenced by a combination of lifestyle choices people make, such as eating a healthy diet, getting enough physical exercise, keeping one’s mind active and engaged, keeping a positive attitude, and staying connected to friends, family, and social groups.
Our comprehensive Health and Wellness Program incorporates the study’s findings and offers residents everything they need to embrace successful aging. Eating healthy is easy at Trinity Terrace because each day our Certified Executive Chef prepares delicious, healthful meals.
Getting enough physical activity is also easy because we offer a wide variety of exercise classes including low-impact aerobics, chair aerobics, yoga, balance, stretch and tone, and more. Residents can also swim laps in our beautiful Indoor Pool or take an aqua-aerobics class. Our on-campus Fitness Center offers exercise equipment especially designed for seniors and our Personal Trainers can design a weight training program created for their particular needs.
In addition, residents have access to the free wellness clinics, diet and nutrition seminars, lectures presented by health specialists, and wealth of social activities offered on campus throughout the year.
At Trinity Terrace, we want the next chapters of your life to be the best chapters of your life!
