Fully Accredited – a mark of distinction
Trinity Terrace is Tarrant County’s only fully accredited by CARF-CCAC, an organization formed when the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) acquired the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) in 2003.
CARF-CCAC is the nation’s only accrediting body for Continuing Care Retirement Communities and other retirement communities that meet its standards of excellence in three critical areas:
- Governance and administration
- Financial resources and disclosure
- Resident life, health, and wellness
Accreditation is a rigorous voluntary process involving self-evaluation by the organization’s staff, residents, and board of directors. It also entails a meticulous on-site review by trained CARF-CCAC evaluators.
Accreditation is considered to be the “gold seal” of approval for those CCRCs who earn it, and residents who choose an accredited CCRC know that the community has been thoroughly reviewed and found to be sound in all areas of operation. CARF-CCAC itself says, “Financial institutions, including rating agencies, investment bankers, and insurance carriers look for accreditation as a sign of financial stability. They value the rigorous due diligence that results from accreditation.”
