Thomas (Tom) Becker
President/CEO

Tom Becker

Mr. Becker is President and CEO of Pacific Retirement Services, Inc., and Executive Director of Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon. Pacific Retirement Services is the parent corporation of Trinity Terrace (Fort Worth, Texas); Cascade Manor (Eugene, Oregon); University Retirement Community (Davis, California); Holladay Park Plaza (Portland, Oregon); and 23 Rogue Valley Manor Community Housing Corporations located in Oregon, California, and Texas. Pacific Retirement Services is also the parent corporation of Rogue Valley Manor Foundation; Rogue Valley Manor Community Services, Inc.; Crest Park, Inc.; and Quail Point Golf Course (all of which are located in Medford, Oregon).

Mr. Becker began his career with the Rogue Valley Manor on January 1, 1978. Previously, he was employed with the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society from 1972 to 1977. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon in Eugene. He is licensed by the State of Oregon as a Nursing Home Administrator and Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators. He is a member of the Oregon Alliance of Senior and Health Services, the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), the Medford Rotary Club, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Medford Chamber of Commerce. He is also Chairman of the Board for St. Mary's Endowment Fund in Medford, Oregon; and a past member of the Community Board of Providence Medford Medical Center. Mr. Becker is the immediate Past President of the AAHSA Development Corporation in Washington, D.C., and is currently a member of its Board. In addition, he serves on the Boards of Lithia Automotive and PremierWest Bank, both of which are based in Medford, Oregon. Mr. Becker has also served on the Board of Directors of Jackson County Federal Savings Bank in Medford, Oregon.

Thomas Patrick (Pat) Brown
Executive Vice President, Construction and Start-Up

Pat Brown

Mr. Brown began his career with Pacific Retirement Services in 1978, holding various positions at three PRS-affiliated communities. In 1985, he was appointed as the Associate Administrator of the Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon, where he served for three years. In 1988, he was appointed as Executive Director of Holladay Park Plaza in Portland, Oregon. In 1998, Mr. Brown joined the PRS Executive Management team, as the PRS Executive Vice President of Construction and Start-Up for new communities. In this position he is currently overseeing the conversion of Saratoga Retirement Community in Saratoga, California, to a CCRC. Prior to joining the team at Saratoga, Mr. Brown was responsible for overseeing the start-up efforts and construction for University Retirement Community (URC) in Davis, California, which opened in February 2000, and he subsequently served as URC's Executive Director until August 2001. Mr. Brown has been licensed as a nursing home administrator in Oregon since 1983. He is a member of the CCRC Subcommittee for the California Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. Previously, he was a member of the House of Delegates of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Oregon Alliance of Senior and Health Services. He has also served as President of Northwest Providers Network and Chair of the Senior and Disabled Services Division CCRC Advisory Committee for the State of Oregon.

Jill Collins
Executive Vice President, Operations/COO

Jill Collins

Ms. Collins joined Pacific Retirement Services on October 9, 1990. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Sacred Heart University. She manages and directs the acquisition, development, and operation of all PRS affordable housing facilities, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and the Foster Grandparent Program. In addition, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Trinity Terrace (Fort Worth, Texas); Cascade Manor (Eugene, Oregon); Holladay Park Plaza (Portland, Oregon); the Meadows of Napa Valley (Napa, California); and Saratoga Retirement Community (Saratoga, California). Prior to joining Pacific Retirement Services, she served as Vice President of Engineered Control Systems, Inc., and acted as Administrator for three of its manufacturing subsidiary operations. She is Vice President of Housing for the Oregon Alliance of Senior and Health Services and is a member of the House of Delegates of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). Ms. Collins also served a Co-Chair for AAHSA's Continuing Care Retirement Community Accreditation Committee.

Brian McLemore
Executive Vice President, Development and Marketing

Brian McLemore

Mr. McLemore began his career with Pacific Retirement Services in 1986, when he was hired as the Director of Rogue Valley Manor Community Services and Community Housing. Since then, Mr. McLemore has served in many capacities within the corporation. Currently, he oversees construction and expansion for PRS and its affiliates. He has overseen the development of more than 900 senior housing units, and he has managed over $200 million in construction of senior housing facilities. Mr. McLemore is licensed by the State of Oregon as a Nursing Home Administrator, he is a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, and he has served as the Vice President of the Oregon Alliance of Senior and Health Services. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon State College, and he is Past President of the Southern Oregon State College Alumni Association.

Gerald (Jerry) Schoeggl
Executive Vice President, Finance/CFO

Jerry Schoeggl

Mr. Schoeggl joined Pacific Retirement Services in April 1995 as the Chief Financial Officer for all PRS affiliates. Prior to joining PRS, he was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Rogue Valley Health Services and Affiliates, which is composed of a 305-bed hospital and a Physician Group (Medford, Oregon, 1980 to 1995). Mr. Schoeggl was also Controller and Assistant Treasurer for Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation and Affiliates (La Jolla, California, 1970 to 1980). He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Washington and is a Certified Public Accountant in both Oregon and California. Mr. Schoeggl worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP from 1968 to 1970, and he founded the NPN Health Alliance in 1995. Mr. Schoeggl is currently Treasurer of the regional branch of the Boy Scouts of America and Treasurer for a local County Sheriff campaign. Previously, he served as a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors.

Martin Satava
Executive Vice President, Development

Martin SatavaMr. Satava has served Pacific Retirement Services since November 30, 2007. Headquartered at the PRS office in Memphis, Tennessee, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development and acquisition of new Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) for the expansion of PRS into the Eastern, Southern, and Midwestern United States. Martin has served the Senior Living industry for 24 years and was one of the first attorneys in the southeast to specialize in CCRC development and financial transactions. In his previous position, he was responsible for approximately $1 billion in successful CCRC developments, contract negotiations and financing, development management, and the creation and implementation of corporate strategies, among other duties. Mr. Satava holds a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University and a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University’s College of Law.

Steven (Steve) Rinkle
General Counsel

Steve RinkleMr. Rinkle joined Pacific Retirement Services in October 2005. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University, Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University, and Juris Doctor from University of California's Boalt Hall School of Law. Rinkle is admitted to the practice of law in the states of Oregon (active) and Hawaii (currently on inactive status) only. His practice includes almost 10 years at the Jackson County Counsel's Office and six years in private practice at the national law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine, LLP, in Portland, Oregon, and Honolulu, Hawaii, serving in the Corporations and Commercial Finance departments. Prior to attending law school, he worked for the federal government in Washington, DC, at the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the Department of the Navy.
