Residential Living
Our Residential Living program is designed to help residents maintain
independence by offering assistance with the activities of daily living.
Caregivers are available to help with activities such as dressing, bathing,
grooming, and mobility. Residential Living services include three meals
a day, housekeeping twice monthly, local transportation, laundry services,
health and wellness programs, medication supervision, and social and recreational
activities. The Residential Living program also offers a variety of health
and support services, including private-duty care packages that fit many
levels of need.
The
Health Care Center
Rogue Valley Manor's on-campus Health Care Center is a Medicare Certified
skilled nursing facility and is federally and state licensed. The Center
offers skilled nursing care in addition to centralizing a variety of health
care services. Within the Center, all residents have access to services
such as routine health screenings, as well as more specialized rehabilitative
services such as speech, physical, or occupational therapy (these services
must be ordered by a physician, and there are fees involved). Residents
can stay in the Health Care Center at no extra charge while recovering
from short-term illness or injury, then return to their apartment or cottage
when they have recovered. The Health Care Center also offers a comfortable
environment for residents needing long-term skilled nursing care.
The Special Care Center
The Special Care Center is designed to accommodate the needs of residents
with Alzheimer's and other memory-impairing conditions. The Center's specially
designed features include a family-style kitchen, a comfortable living-room
area with a cozy fireplace, several activity areas, a dining room with
a beautiful view of the Rogue Valley, controlled-access security, and
a secure exterior courtyard with a gazebo and walking paths. In addition,
the Special Care Center offers personalized care programs that enable
residents to retain their freedom, self-esteem, dignity, and privacy.
The
Manor Clinic
The Manor Clinic offers the services of a geriatric nurse practitioner
and a full-time staff physician. Having
our own medical staff on campus makes Rogue Valley Manor one of the only CCRCs
on the West Coast to offer this service. For resident convenience, other
professional services available on campus include audiology as well as massage, physical, occupational, and speech therapies
(through independent contractors.) The Manor also has a full-service pharmacy,
which is staffed by our own pharmacist and employees.
Home Care
The Rogue Valley Manor Home Care program offers the services of registered
and licensed nurses, as well as private duty aides and companions. Available
services include assistance with the activities of daily living such as
dressing, bathing, personal grooming, medication management, and escort
service to medical appointments and other outings. Program nurses coordinate
Home Care for each individual. The program accepts private insurance and
private-pay arrangements.
The Manor requires all residents to maintain an
approved HMO or supplemental health insurance policy to handle costs not
covered by Medicare.
