PRS Appoints Judi Del Ponte Marketing Director
of the New Foster City Mirabella

(Medford, Oregon) January 22, 2008 – Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. (PRS), a national not-for-profit developer and manager of retirement communities, announced today that it has appointed Judi Del Ponte to the position of Marketing Director for Mirabella San Francisco Bay, its new planned Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) coming to downtown Foster City, California.

Ms. Del Ponte has 15 years experience in the senior housing industry. She’s been marketing the 668-acre Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon, (another CCRC by PRS) since July 2002, and has served as Marketing Director since November 2005.

“Judi’s marketing success at Rogue Valley Manor and her past experience in marketing brand-new senior living communities contributed greatly to our decision to offer her this position,” says Brian McLemore, executive vice president of marketing and development of PRS. “We know that her expertise and positive approach to service will enhance the success of this new CCRC through all phases of marketing.”

An agreement with PRS for the development of 10.5 acres next to City Hall in downtown Foster City is being drawn up now using terms agreed upon by the City of Foster City in mid-December. The project is being sponsored and developed by PRS in connection with Sares Regis Group of Northern California, L.P.

Along with the expected 670,000-square-foot CCRC, PRS will also develop affordable senior housing, plus a public village square and retail space. The City of Foster City’s land use and design review process began on January 15 when the Planning Commission held its first village square design study session.

The CCRC is expected to offer 251 Independent Living Apartments and 36 Assisted Living Apartments, plus full Memory Care for 20 residents and Skilled Nursing Care for 24 residents. PRS’s affordable senior housing community will add 65 apartments, and there will be approximately 640 total parking spaces for the development.

This will be the third urban Mirabella for PRS. Mirabella Seattle in South Lake Union is under construction and Mirabella Portland in South Waterfront is in presales. Others are in development.
