MirabellaMirabella Seattle
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON • 1-877-447-5658

At this writing, Mirabella Seattle is well on its way to becoming a reality! Construction got under way in November 2006 and is on schedule to be completed in 2008. When it’s finished, Mirabella Seattle in South Lake Union will be the first all-new CCRC built in Seattle in nearly 35 years. As such Mirabella will be state-of-the-art in everything. From the spacious apartments to the host of outstanding services, fine amenities, and on-site health care it offers, this new community will truly be spectacular.

With construction under way, the main responsibilities at this stage lie with the PRS Construction Team: Pat Brown, PRS Executive Vice President of Construction; Heather Williamson, Project Administrator; John Tamminga, Project Manager; and Wayne Machmiller, Project Manager. It’s their jobs to ensure that the community’s construction stays on schedule, that the subcontractors perform their duties on time and on budget, and that every single task is completed as specified by the various regulations and building codes.

As Pat describes the process, “In construction, every day presents new challenges. Sometimes that means we have to deal with unexpected weather or a delay in the delivery of materials or supplies — those sorts of things. We deal with these challenges by remaining flexible and being creative in finding solutions. We have a great Construction Team here at PRS, and we are working with the very best construction companies and subcontractors, all of whom we have longstanding relationships with. So the process runs pretty smoothly overall.”

In addition to working closely with the architects and the builders for Mirabella Seattle, Pat and his staff, along with Regional Marketing Director Diane Masson and her staff, are working closely with future residents, many of whom have selected a number of custom options for their new residences. All apartment homes at Mirabella Seattle come standard with wood floors, ceramic tile bathrooms with marble vanities, beautiful window treatments, and slab granite countertops in the kitchen. And all future residents have the benefit of choosing their own custom paint and carpeting colors. But many future residents are choosing to customize further. To date, more than 170 future residents have plans to add additional custom upgrades to create interiors that suit their personal style to a tee!

Diane says, “This is a very exciting project to be a part of. It represents a whole new way of thinking about getting older and what the possibilities for the future are. The apartments are going to be absolutely phenomenal in terms of design and interior appointments. The amenities are going to be out of this world; and the services, like those at all PRS communities, will be world-class.”
