In fulfilling its mission “to create and enhance lifestyle opportunities for seniors,” PRS lends its expertise to outside organizations that share its vision. PRS provides marketing and development services, construction oversight, health care program development, and many other types of services to senior-living providers. Currently, PRS is working with the Masonic Homes of California, providing that organization with marketing services for two brand-new CCRCs in Union City and Covina, California. Additionally, PRS is evaluating several new opportunities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Another way PRS reaches out is by creating entities that serve the greater communities in which PRS CCRCs reside. For example, in Medford, Oregon, PRS is building a Hilton Homewood Suites, an extended-stay, residential-style hotel to be located next to Rogue Valley Manor’s Quail Point Golf Course on Ellendale Drive. When complete, the hotel will provide friends and families visiting residents over a period of days with high-quality accommodations conveniently located near the Manor campus.

The hotel will also benefit the greater southern Oregon community because it will offer extended-stay accommodations to families visiting loved ones in the two nearby hospitals.

PRS’s Centennial Golf Club, a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course designed by John Fought, also serves the greater southern Oregon community. Centennial opened to the public in 2006. With a par of 72 and more than 7,300 yards for the back tees, Centennial is popular with the most accomplished golfers; yet the multiple tee placements and the wide, sprawling fairways make it a favorite course for players of all levels.

Centennial also features its own restaurant, the Centennial Grille, offering a friendly atmosphere and something for every taste: scrumptious salads, mouth-watering burgers, sandwiches, lunch wraps, and overall favorites, including tequila lime chicken, soup and salad combos, and pub-style fish ’n’ chips. The Grille also has a full bar, so patrons can enjoy cocktails. The Grille is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the summer; there’s also a takeout menu. The Pavilion has an indoor dining room as well as a large outdoor covered patio, where diners can take in the spectacular views. The Pavilion also features a full-service golf shop, offering fine-quality apparel and accessories not found anywhere else in town.
