History, Mission, & Values

Mirabella Seattle was the first Mirabella-brand Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) developed by Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. (PRS). It was designed as a senior-living community where people could make the next chapters of their lives the best chapters of their lives. The Mirabella philosophy embraces the notion that age is just a number, not something that defines who one is or how one feels.

The name “Mirabella” was chosen because it can be loosely translated from Italian as “beautiful vision,” which reflects PRS’s goal of helping residents create a vision of their future that is bright, vibrant, and exciting.

Mirabella Seattle was incorporated in 2004 and welcomed its first residents in December 2008. In 2009, the Oregon Chapter of the International Interior Design Association presented Mirabella Seattle and Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects with the Honor Award for Residential Spaces, an award recognizing interior designs that allow people to thrive.

Mission Statement:
Mirabella Seattle is a vibrant, urban, continuing care community dedicated to enhancing the retirement experience.
