The Residents' Favorite Music program on Wednesday 17th will be something special. Howard Karp will share memories of his time at the Juilliard with the noted pianist Van Cliburn, where they studied under the same teacher; and will also allow us to hear him playing some of his favorite short pieces.

Van Cliburn passed away February 27th at his home in Texas, at the age of 78.

Thank You

The Morgan family send their gratitude to all residents who came for Jean Morgan's farewell gathering on April 2. They wrote: "Thank you to any staff at Capitol Lakes who helped to make it happen. It was a great opportunity for Jean to be able to hear nice things spoken about her, and for her to have a chance to say goodbye."

We will also have quarterly visits by Alzheimer's Association staff. This group is intended to help those who are caregivers for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or other forms of dementia.
