Accommodations - An Apartment Style for Everyone
As one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit senior-living providers, PRS is always looking for ways to enhance and enrich life for the seniors who live in its communities. One of the ways we do that is by listening carefully to what the seniors of today want in their living accommodations. What we’ve found is that people today are looking for residences that are larger than what is typically found in senior housing. That’s why, as we’ve renovated existing communities, we’ve combined smaller apartments to create the larger accommodations that residents want. That’s also why, as we’ve developed and built new communities, we offer floor plans that are as large as 2,000 square feet of living space, plus additional square footage in private-view decks and patios.
While all members of the PRS family of CCRCs share certain characteristics, each of community is completely unique in terms of its campus. All of our CCRCs offer several accommodation styles to choose from, everything from one bedroom apartments to two- and three-bedroom apartments. We also offer one- and two-bedroom apartments with dens. Some of our communities offer cottages or duplexes with attached garages, while others offer apartment homes in an urban high-rise building. Some offer a combination of apartments and cottages.
No matter which PRS Continuing Care Retirement Community you choose, and no matter which type of accommodation is right for your needs, one thing remains the same. Your new home will be spacious; comfortable; finished in your choice of paint, flooring, and carpeting; and it will have plenty of space for your treasured possessions.
