About Us

University Retirement Community (URC) is a non-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Davis, California, and it is the only accreditated CCRC in Yolo County. Our award-winning campus is designed for energetic retirees who want to maintain their current residential lifestyle—secure in the knowledge that URC's integrated program of health care services provides them with access to assisted living services, skilled nursing services, or specialized Alzheimer's care, should the need arise.

URC received an Award of Merit from the prestigious Golden Nugget Program, which honors creative achievement, innovation, and effectiveness in architectural design. It has also been awarded two gold medals in the Best of Seniors' Housing Awards, and it is the Grand Prize Winner of the Gold Key Awards 2000, which recognizes outstanding achievement in design.
