Traditional vs. Returnable Entry Fee

Several PRS CCRCs offer residents the choice of a Traditional Entrance Fee or a Returnable Entrance Fee. Each of these plans has its own advantages. All you need to do is choose the one that’s right for you.

  • The Returnable Entrance Fee - If you choose a Returnable Plan, you will pay a higher Entrance Fee when you first move to our CCRC, but your estate or your heirs will receive a refund.
  • The Traditional Entrance Fee - your Entrance Fee will be less expensive than if you select a Returnable Plan; however, in most cases, if you leave the community after 36 months no money will be returned to you, your estate, or your heirs.
