Meet Gary...
Gary has worked for the Rogue Valley Manor for more than seven years. He started as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and was promoted to Restorative Aide. “Thanks to the Manor’s continuing education program, I was able to earn my bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration. Meet Aaron...
Aaron joined Rogue Valley Manor as an on-call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) five years ago. His first promotion landed him a full-time position in the on-campus Manor Clinic, and a year ago he was promoted to Resident Care Manager, overseeing post-operative recovery and rehabilitation in our Health Care Center. “I’m grateful to work at such an incredible place. Meet Dennis...
Dennis began his career at Rogue Valley Manor four years ago as a Maintenance Technician. Three promotions later, Dennis earned his current position as Maintenance Supervisor for the entire Manor campus. “I have learned more than I ever thought possible working at the Manor—from plumbing, to connecting telephones and the Internet. Meet Manny...
Manny began working for the Manor in the Grounds Department three years ago. Through hard work, Manny was recently promoted to supervisory status, serving as the Lead Groundskeeper and overseeing six employees. Meet Chef Richard...
Richard was hired in 1998 as a Pantry Chef. After 18 months, he was promoted to the Chef de Cuisine where he was in charge of day-to-day operations in the kitchen. Richard has been given yet another opportunity to advance and is now the Director of Dining Services at one of the Manor’s sister communities—Cascade Manor in Eugene. “I love my new home and the work I do. The residents are so thankful, and it makes me feel good to know that my work can have such a positive impact on people’s lives. Meet Sally...
Sally started with the Manor as a housekeeper in January 2003. After receiving two promotions, she is now in her third year working as Department Secretary for Facility Services, which is home to nearly 100 employees. “The housekeeping avenue was a great way to get my foot in the door at the Manor. Susanne was hired as a CNA six years ago. Meet Vanessa…
Vanessa began working for Rogue Valley Manor as a CNA six years ago. After only eight months, she entered the LPN Program at Rogue Community College using scholarship money from the Manor Foundation. “When I was in school, not only did the Manor help me financially, they were also flexible with my schedule. I’ve now been accepted into an LPN to RN Step-up Program with another scholarship from the Manor. I love the support I receive from the Manor team and Residents. Mark began his career at Rogue Valley Manor as a cook. After his promotion to lead cook, Mark continued to climb the ladder, first as Dining Room Manager for the Manor, and now as Director of Dining Services at one of our sister communities—The Meadows of Napa Valley in Napa Valley, California. “Applying at RVM was the single most beneficial career move I could have made.
