Community Volunteer Network, a division of PRS, is a not-for-profit 501(c) organization serving seniors in Southern Oregon. Older adults can volunteer within their community, while seniors who lack support systems can receive needed services.
COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER NETWORK SPONSORS TWO MAJOR PROGRAMS
The Foster Grandparent Program and RSVP, formerly known as the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, are both federally funded and receive matching local funding.
FOSTER GRANPARENT PROGRAM
  • Places older adults in schools and similar settings to coach struggling young students
  • Emphasizes reading support and one-on-one tutoring
